Desborough College is an all boys comprehensive school with a co-educational sixth form.  The school is proud of its history;  founded as a boys’ grammar school over 100 years ago, Desborough has built upon those firm foundations and continues to focus on responsibility, respect and the building of self-esteem.  Many of the grammar school traditions have been maintained, whilst embracing change.  Desborough's recent conversion to an academy provides it with additional support and expertise from its sponsors, the Education Fellowship.  The community is both caring and inclusive, with an atmosphere of calm and purposeful learning.  Students are treated as individuals and staff recognise and celebrate their different abilities, aptitudes and interests.  Staff love to see all students succeeding in all areas of school life – sport, music, drama and in the whole range of subjects that they will study.  Desborough's results this summer were the best in the school’s history, and the aim is to do even better next year.
